Burmester 20 is a high quality wine, made by blending wines from different vintages to achieve the set of sensory qualities that are typical of these Port wines. Each of these wines has matured in oak barrels for varying periods of time, and the average age of all the wines in the blend defines their age, in this case 20 years. The resulting mixture expresses the characteristics that aging in wood gives it.
